1. Do you go to a good school?

Well, the school that I go to is not a well-known one, but it’s quite nice. It’s located in the city suburbs where there are lots of plants and rocky roads. It’s especially beautiful when it rains lightly. The teachers are easygoing and caring. So, overall, I think it is a good school.

Honestly, I’m pretty satisfied with my school. If I have to name some changes, I guess they could try and improve the school’s exposure in the media, cause lots of people aren’t even familiar with the name of my school. Yeah, what a pity!

3. Where do you go to school?

Well, actually, I went to school in my hometown in a small city, which was located in the southern part of China. The school was situated on top of a little hill, and it was surrounded by fences and walls. In our school, we had around 200 students and there were not many teachers.

4. Do you like your current learning atmosphere?

Yes. I enjoy the atmosphere my school creates. First of all, the school enrolled (招生) plenty of talented and smart students. Surrounded by them, I feel very energetic and inspired all the time. Besides, we have a comparatively relaxed academic environment that allows students to challenge themselves and make innovations.

5. What are the difference between your school and other schools?

I think the curriculum (课程) of my school doesn’t follow the traditional one compared to others. Here we have Tai Chi (太极拳), swimming , career planning, etc. It’s very considerate of my school to care for students’ mental health and future development in this way.

6. Is there anything you want to change about your school?

Of course, nothing is perfect. I think the teacher in my school could be more involved in students’ learning experiences. Even though we are already college students, we still need a lifelong mentor to keep our company, who can inspire us when necessary and help us tackle some detailed academic problems.
